With the Toyobo Activated Carbon Fiber
 |
Air Pollution! Bad Smells! Poor Work
Conditions!
If these are your problems, we have solved them for you with a unique system
of low running costs and high efficiency. Toyobo supplies a revolutionary system
to work for you on these crucial problems. It is termed the KPR SOLVENT GAS TREATMENT
SYSTEM. |
The heart of this system is the activated
carbon fiber (K-Filter) patented by Toyobo.
This system displays its greatest efficiencies when applied to exhaust gases
with a fairly large air flow rate and a low solvent concentration. Outstanding
successes in adsorbing solvent gases, and major money-savings have been attained
when applied to various exhaust gases; this is particularly marked in paint booth
operations of various kinds of industries.
Major strides have also been achieved in various phases of environmental waste
disposal systems and odor-removal equipment.
This system has been proved in over 30 plants and operating units in the last years
in Japan and elsewhere. Awards have been received in Japan and other countries
for the innovation concepts of this system. |

- Reduced Cost of Investment
The Main Section is extremely compact because the solvent-laden
air is driven up parallel to the adsorbent surface under
high air velocities. The Disposal Sectio is also very small.
The cost of the System is up to 40% less than that of conventional
deodorizing equipment.
- Low Operational
Costs
The solvent is concentrated within the Main Section to concentration
levels higher than that of self combustion. No additional fuel
is required for the subsequent incineration stage of the operation.
This results in a major reduction in costs.
- Compactness
The size of the entire system is up to 50% less than other deodorizing
systems.
- Operational
Ease
and
Safety
The systerm is so simple that it can be handled with ease and
safety, and is accident - and fool-proof.
